About Me

E.V. Caldwell was born in New York, raised on Long Island, and currently resides in Washington state with her husband and son. She studied Digital Arts at New York Institute of Technology and spent a fourteen year career in advertising in both design and copywriting—before finding the confidence to tell stories. Her home in the Pacific Northwest and the slower rhythm there allowed her to imagine magical worlds interwoven with nature.

When E.V. isn’t spending time with her family, she’s either knee-deep in a book or craft project. She also likes to paint, sing karaoke, and obsessively collect craft ideas that she may never make.

She writes stories about dangerous magic, morally complex characters, and the cost of impossible choices. Her greatest goal as an author is to advocate for neurodivergent voices, especially those most often overlooked.
